Crispin Glover and Corey Feldman star in this, the fourth movie in the venerable friday the 13th series. Though most had written off the series by this installment, in retrospect this looks like it was the best of the series. First, Glover injects some much needed personality into the film as Jimmy, one of the many doomed teenagers at Camp Crystal Lake, and he seems to somehow make the other teens a little more entertaining, including Corey Feldman’s Tommy, ostensibly the hero of the picture. Second, and perhaps most importantly, the gore effects her are done by the legendary Tom Savini (DAWN OF THE DEAD), who adds a level of inventiveness to the endless killings that the series hadn’t yet experienced. Five more sequels followed.

Standard Jason plot, with him stalking teens
on camp Crystal lake. Still, Tom Savinis make
up effects are well used. The ending could have gone better, but still, a notable one for the series.

This entry in the neverending series, is by far the best of all the sequels. In many ways there are qualities in this one that the first F13 didn’t have, but the first is still the best only because it paved the way for more fun and goofy sequels. The effects were top notch done by master Tom Savini. I also liked how they didn’t show too much of Jason until the end. The music done by F13 miestro Harry Manfredini is superb as usual. It also has a sense of humor( Crispin Glover’s lil dance move is classic ). So I recommend this one to any F13 fan, and even to the general public. They just had to make the 5th one. gggrrrrrr!

This is a must seem film of Jason Vorhees. There is one scene where little corey feldman sticks a knife into jasons head, and jason falls and slides down the knife with his face. A must see for tha gore fans…I think this one was the best..

Tom Savini goes all the way with the splatter quota in this one, and there’s actually real stars in this film since Kevin Bacon died in the original (Crispin Glover of BACK TO THE FUTURE and Corey “Edgar Frog” Feldman as the first Tommy Jarvis). Feldman kicks ass at the end when he gives the Jason the final cut(s). Too bad they didn’t make part 6 as part 5 instead.

This movie is about Jason who escapes from the morgue he was put at killing more fun loving teens. Tommy Jarvis, Trish Jarvis, and Mrs.Jarvis all live in the woods very very deep. Then they find out the house next door is rented by some teens. Trish (Kimberley Beck) and Tommy (Corey Feldman) meet a hiker named Rob (Erich Anderson) who is hunting Jason because he killed his sister Sandra in Part 2. Jason kills Mrs.Jarvis and all the teens until Doug (Peter Barton) and Sara (Barbra Howard) are left. Jason smashes Doug’s face in and throws a axe into Sara. Then Rob and Trish go next door ready to battle Jason…

This was my favorite movie besides the 1st. Even though I liked this better. A bunch of morons in this movie though. Each one gets killed as usual, but only 2 survivors from the Jarvis family are still alive. Trish and Tommy. I thought Tommy was crazy when he had shaved his head even though Trish told him to get the heck outta here. I thought Jason was gonna kill him, but just when he had the chance Trish flipped his mask with a knife approaching her. Tommy came from behind and stabbed his exposed hideous face. After that, he is still conscious and Tommy begins to finish him off and that causes him to think in Part 5 that he isn’t really dead.
