ah man i miss this show. i used to watch this show all the time when i was in high school here in Chicago. it was kinda funny cause the show was supposed to be set in Chicago with Toronto passing for it. Chi-town reppin!

Yep, it was a good …
Yep, it was a good show. They just started re-airing it on the SyFy channel so you can check it out for yourself.
I used to love it as a teenager and after watching it again, the show still holds up fairly well 20+ years later.
Think “Warehouse 13″ meets “The Room” (with all the magical objects).

A great TV series …
A great TV series that managed to combine skillfully thriller and horror without ever falling into the ridiculous and the already seen.
Excellent production work.
Beautiful stories narrated in the course of the seasons.
Talented actors.
My personal vote: (5 stars).

you can buy it all on DVD now! the first two seasons are available on dvd and the third and final season is coming out september 22!! I got the first two seasons and this TV show has been by far my favorite TV show of ALL TIME

This special intro was only shown twice throughout the duration of the series — before the two parts to “The Prophecies”. The rest of the time, they showed the regular intro.

I dont remember the verbal intro explaining the cursed object backstory from the original run?
was this a narraration that was added for recent re-run syndication?
Even the DVD releases are missing this narraration and stick to the view of a camera moving thru the antique shop (no talking)

They used the title …
They used the title to draw in fans, but it has nothing to do with Jason. The original title was “Curious Goods”. It’s a really good show, but gets some backlash because of the title.
